Hello!

Hi, my name is Iris! I run the Blooming Iris with my husband, Eric, and our dog, Koya.

I am a floral designer that graduated from the Floral Design program at Seneca College. I placed in first for the thesis competition. Check out that project below! Eric is a plant grower by trade and he works as one of the lead growers at Sheridan Nurseries.

Despite always loving art, I originally was studying  law and graduated with a Criminal Justice and Public Policy degree. COVID hit and gave me a chance to slow down and reflect on what I wanted to do most... which was to pursue my passion for design and the arts.

I have always loved weddings since I was a kid. I adored every aspect of weddings from the beautiful flowers, the pretty dresses, the love stories to the delicious food. I was even crazy enough to do the flowers for my own wedding after just being a recent graduate! It's an honor to be apart of a couple's special day and we always do our best to make it a beautiful and memorable day in the floral aspect.
